ABOUT US
Our common goal is to pay tribute to nurses prior to and at the time of their passing, offering comfort to them and their loved ones. It is also our privilege to honor veteran nurses. The tribute service is our “Gift” to the nurses and their families at no cost to anyone. It is our Honor and Privilege to serve.
If you or someone you know is in a county other than Brunswick in NC or another state desiring a service, we are happy to put you/them in touch with the appropriate Honor Guard serving that area. You may email us at nurseguard5@gmail.com.
The Nurse Honor Guard of Southeastern NC is a non-profit organization of all volunteer nurses, active and retired, who seek to commemorate and shine a light on the contributions our colleagues have made to the nursing profession, to each other, our community and to our Country.

The Nurse Honor Guard of Southeastern NC was founded in January 2023 by nurses Becky Lanier, Dina Anderson, Francesca Kline, Judith Gilbert and Kelly Wood, growing to a current membership of 34. We are recognized by the National Nurse Honor Guard and partner with them in sharing experiences and ideas. We also mutually serve as mentors to other nurses as new chapters are formed across the country.
